High blood pressure is present in 1 out of every 3 Americans (ADA, 2014). Diabetes effects almost 30 million Americans. Over 86 million people have prediabetes in the United States. Why does this matter? Why should someone with diabetes or prediabetes even worry about high blood pressure?
